Dose of reality

Ok.  I started a new job last week and basically bailed on the diet plan due to the no beer during the week restriction.  Then, I tried to get all prepped over the weekend for starting in again this week, but couldn't get totally organized.  Thought I had everything I needed, but I got to work on Monday with 2 of 3 ingredients for the prescribed lunch and 2 of 3 supplements in the pill box that I had so lovingly filled on Sunday.  Exhaustion and stress over the new gig did me in and I'm just not ready to launch into anything hardcore right now.  I want to get going actually blogging through chapters of the book (as is the premise of the whole blog!), but when I return home from work each day, there is basically a baby in my arms until I fall into bed about 9pm and am asleep before I can even read two words of any book. 

I'm considering modifying the slow carb plan to fit my lifestyle a bit more and see if I can still lose weight.  Next week, I'm going to plan for slow carb breakfast and lunch, do the supplements recommended in Four Hour Body and take 3 tablespoons extra light olive oil (ELOO) as an appetite suppressant.  Ideally, I'd do three mornings of Kettle Bell Swings, but we'll see.
